David Haye and John Ruiz Set For April

David Haye will defend his newly acquired WBA heavyweight championship against John Ruiz on April 3 at Manchester’s M.E.N. Arena.  Haye, 23-1 (21 KOs), won the title from Nikolai Valuev in November of 2009. John Ruiz, 44-8-1 (30 KOs) is his mandatory challenger and a former two-time champion. Both are promoted by Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions. The fight can be seen on Sky Box Office.
