Jennifer, of Grudge Training Center in Denver, CO, will be taking on Anjelica Chavez, of Chavez Martial Arts Academy in Albuquerque. This bout is the featured Co-main event of the night, Feb. 11th at Evolution’s “Friday Night Fights” at the Clovis Civic Center. This was a fun interview to be sure, about Jennifer’s life, her career, the state of women’s MMA, and her surprising reaction to Dana White’s comments regarding “women never competing “in the UFC’s. She is an extremely well rounded person, and willing to out-work anyone to be well-rounded in the cage, often spending up to 10 hours a day at Grudge, either teaching classes or training. Previous to MMA, Jennifer was a Kickboxer, a competitive Equestrian, a practitioner of Krav Maga, and Yoga; see what I mean about well rounded! An avid fan of hip hop music, whose iPod also contains Britney Spears, Jennifer is married, to a teacher who also competes in MMA, so with the little time she takes off from the gym, she’s relaxing with her husband and her beloved dogs; of course jogging is something most of us call work, but to Jennifer, it’s called relaxation!
