Amarillo, TX. – April 25, 2011 –Texas based mixed martial arts fight promotion company, Shark Fight Promotions, announced today that they have formed a strategic alliance with Los Angeles-based Brentwood Communications International, Inc. (BCII), a television production and brand management company with significant mixed martial arts experience. The alliance has been formed in an effort to enhance the fast-rising fight organization’s national and international television and media reach, sponsorship revenue, and brand licensing initiatives.
Under the terms of the alliance, BCII will focus on the following key areas of Shark Fights growth strategy:
Securing a long-term domestic television license
Establishing a successful national sponsorship program that includes integrated television
Licensing Shark Fights programming and the Shark Fights brand internationally, on home video and through digital distribution
Consulting on all aspects of fight operations as it relates to programming, sponsorship and licensing
BCII is a pioneer in MMA programming. The company co-founded King of the Cage in 1999 and BCII’s CEO Bud Brutsman was instrumental in bringing the Pride Fighting Championships to the U.S. BCII was Pride’s first home video licensee and U.S. production and marketing partner. BCII’s expertise and infrastructure in the areas of television, sponsorship, licensing and business affairs will allow Shark Fights to focus on their core competencies of event operations and matchmaking.
