Anderson Silva vs Yushin Okami
Anderson Silva retained his UFC Middleweight Title with a 2nd round stoppage of Japanese fighter, Yushin Okami.
It was redemption for Silva who’s last lost in the UFC came against Okami back in 2006 by disqualification.
Silva came out jabbing early, trying to get his space. At the start of the second Anderson turned it up a notch and dropped Okami down in the opening minute after the Japanese fighter dropped his hands.
Silva knocked Okami down for the second time 90 seconds into the 2nd round and finished him on the ground where it was stopped at 2:04.
Maurício Rua vs Forrest Griffin
In the co-feature bout at Light-Heavyweight bout, Brazilian Shogun Rua knocked out American, Forrest Griffin at 1:53 in round 1.
Shogun went on the attack early and caught Griffin with a right hand before finishing the fight with some heavy elbows and punches until the ref intervened.
Ross Pearson vs Edson Barboza
Edson Barboza of Brazil defeated Englishman, Ross Pearson via a 3 round split decision (29–28, 28–29, 29–28) in their Lightweight bout on the main card.
Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs Brendan Schaub
Brazilian Heavyweight, Antonio Nogueira came out stronger against American, Brendan Schaub showing some good head movement.
Schaub hurt Nogueira with some good uppercuts midway through the first round before Nogueira hit Schaub with a huge right hand and Herb Dean came in to end the fight at 3:09 of round 1.
Luiz Cane vs Stanislav Nedkov
In the opening main card fight at Light-Heavyweight, UFC debutant defeated hometown favourite Luiz Cane who was trying to bounce back after 2 consecutive losses.
Cane struck early causing a cut under the eye of Nedkov, but with a minute left in the opening round Nedkov hurt Cane with an overhand right followed by a barrage of follow up punches which caused the ref to dive in and call an end at 4:20 of round 1.

- Tavares defeated Fisher via TKO (punches) at 2:51 in round 2.
- Palhares defeated Miller via unanimous decision (29–27, 30–27, 30–25).
- Thiago defeated Mitchell via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).
- Assunção defeated Eduardo via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).
- Silva defeated Ramos via TKO (punches) at 0:40 of round 1.
- Alcantara defeated Arantes via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 29–28).
- Jabouin defeated Loveland via split decision (27–30, 29–28, 29–28).
