– Pride Comes Before the Fall EP

In this gripping tale we
find our protagonist pacing
his office, his eyes never leav-
ing his phone’s screen. With
a tone born of disgust and ir-
ritation he mutters, “Great!
An ‘active rock’ band. An-
other ninety pound white
guy in a Tapout shirt talking
about how tough he is and
how his ex hurt him...eh at
least it isn’t Attila”
A short time later, after
the writer achieved a state
known to him as “properly
polluted” he sank into a
mound of pillows in a dark-
ened room, smart phone in
hand and resolved to finish
the review before leaving his
cave-like sanctuary. As the
stream of the short EP began
and he could feel the drums
reverberating and resonat-
ing with the various psycho-
active chemicals in his body
he unconsciously nodded to
himself, thinking that this
wouldn’t be half bad after
all. After a few tracks, to his
delight, he noticed a lack of
posturing and typical tough
guy lyrics, he knew this re-
view would not be what he
